Jiuzhaigou — Ancient City of Beautiful Fairytale World

Jiuzhaigou was named after nine originate stockaded villages of Tibetan.

A long time ago, two immortals fell in love with each other. However, their love token, a glorious mirror, accidentally dropped and transformed into some incredibly beautiful lakes; those gems decorated on that mirror became trees and flowers in the surroundings.

In the Han Dynasty (202 BC — 220 AD), this place was included in Han’s territory in the history of China.

Since then, people of other minorities like Qiang and Hui moved in. Now, Jiu Zhaigou is an ancient town of the combination of some Chinese minority cultures.

Jiuzhaigou is famous for the colorful lakes and forests, as well as gorgeous Icebergs and natural ice engraving.

Besides, it is also a natural protected area for animals like pandas and golden monkeys, and plants like ginkgo and Chinese Yew.

Buildings of different styles, combined with extraordinary natural sceneries, together made this place a fairy tale world.
